Since
March of 1956, Toastmasters has been helping people in Janesville and
the
surrounding communities in Wisconsin and
Illinois realize their dreams.
We understand very
clearly that success depends on communication.
Toastmasters helps you to communicate better
with customers, clients and friends.
We believe in hard
work and at the same time we believe in having fun. .
Our
meetings follow a structured, yet flexible two-hour agenda which
includes:
* Invocation/Pledge
of Allegiance/Word of the Day * Commentary.
* Business meeting (including practice
in the art of "Parliamentary Procedure").
* Table Topics *
Reading Master * Joke
Master * Speakers *
Evaluators
Membership in Toastmasters Club # 1983 should be enjoyable and
rewarding.
Although we encourage
full participation, no one is pushed.
We incorporate a
"Learn by Doing" system of education.
IT WORKS - we have
been turning out leaders for over 50 years.
